Master Bath & Laundry Room
We transformed a third bedroom into a new master bathroom and laundry room for a client who wants to stay in her home long term. She now has a master bathroom with a zero entry shower and an upstairs laundry for easy access and convenience. Joe built custom cabinetry to fit the space and needs of the homeowner. Some highlights are a pull-out ironing board in the side board cabinet, a sliding, pull-out cabinet for long-handled cleaning supplies, and cabinetry above the washer and dryer for extra storage. Custom floating shelves made out of oak finish off the look making this bathroom beautiful and functional.
Hallway Bathroom
We transformed this bathroom from a brightly colored “kids” bathroom to a calm oasis. New flooring, vanity and counter top/sink, new plumbing fixtures, light, mirror and custom built wainscoting.
Master Bath Remodel
This master bathroom was completely taken down to the studs and space was annexed, from the entry way into the master bedroom, for the new vanity. This space was part of a larger project, so we were able to update plumbing, electrical, and add insulation and new ductwork. Joe built the custom vanity using reclaimed oak from a barn that was taken down in Warrenton, MO about 20 years ago. I wanted the vanity stained light gray, so you can still see the grain of the wood and all its lovely imperfections. The mix of light tan, gray, cream, and white with pops of bronze and gold give this bathroom a feeling of rustic charm.
Half-Bath Addition
This half-bathroom addition was carved out of an existing closet and part of an entryway into the master bedroom. This space is part of an addition that was added to the house years ago, so the stone wall was uncovered and matches the exposed stone in the adjoing family room. The closet had bi-fold doors leading to the master bedroom on one side and the living room on the other side. The doorway was closed off and horizontal siding was used on each of the walls. Joe scribed each of the trim boards to fit up against the stone for a tighter fit. He also built this vanity out of reclaimed oak, but used a clear stain to bring out the natural color of the aged wood. A pocket door saves space and keeps the look tidy and streamlined. A little bling on the light fixture and vanity door handles brings in some fun to the space.
